Ykids presents... The Great Dino Dig!
Come down to the Strand Shopping Centre this summer and dig for fossils, meet dinosaur keepers and real life dinosaurs (13th August only), hear fantastic dinosaur stories from our wonderful storytellers, follow the dinosaur trail, make friends and have a raw-some time!
The event will be running from 26th July-14th August 2021.
We are excited to put on this fantastic summer event to bring the community together after covid-19. This event is suitable for families with children of any age, parental supervision is required. The Great Dino Dig event is hosted at our children's bookshop, Kingsley&Co, which offers a beautiful library of £1 children's books, Victorian artefacts, barista quality coffee and delicious cakes so there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The Great Dino Dig is Ykids event. Ykids is a charity based in Bootle, who have been putting on FREE community events for over 20 years to bring joy and restoration to children and families (find out more at ykids.co.uk). Ykids is proud to be putting on this event with the support of Sovini (One Vision Housing), Sefton Council, Strand Shopping Centre and our core funders.

Travel & Accessibility
The Strand Shopping Centre is wheelchair accessible, and toilets are situated in the shopping centre, but not in the bookshop. It is accessible by bus (Bootle Strand Bus Station), train (Bootle Strand Station) and there is a multi-story car park right next to the Strand shopping centre.
